Also, I have been thinking about and praying for Boston in the horrible tragedy. It is hard to imagine being there, and the stories of the chaos remind me so much of 9/11; so do the stories of the people who were almost there, who stopped to use the bathroom, who decided to not brave the traffic. On the flip side, there are the stories of people who ran towards the blast, who carried out the injured and comforted the scared. And the story of the ballparks across the nation singing Sweet Caroline, the song the Boston Red Sox play to boost the fans’ spirits, struck a chord.
Luke and I were talking about it all, and he came up with the idea of me drawing a print of Sweet Caroline (original will be for sale too!) where 100% of the profits will go towards the victims of the Boston Marathon bombing. I’ll be putting it on Etsy tomorrow, so if you’d like to help, please consider purchasing, and please pass it along…I want to raise as much money as we can!
